The Star

My first project starting at Cinesite Montreal; The Star was produced by Sony Pictures Animation and released in 2017. 

I was tasked with a variety of environments, vegetation and props, including the full range of generic buildings and streets used to create Nazareth and Bethlehem. I also got to work on several "hero" sets including but not limited to Mary's house, Joseph's compound, the Mill, and the Inn.

This project helped solidify my passion for creating environments and was my first opportunity to learn and use in-house grooming tools. The knowledge I gained directly translated into an increased confidence in my own abilities and taking substantial steps forward in my responsibility and role within the team.
